Tom Hiddlestone is fast becoming the Brit film actor of the moment (his High Rise headlined the London Film Festival and our reviewer in…Maysa Moncao has had chance to see it). He stars as a seductive stranger who spirits away innocent Mia Wasikowska to his titular, mouldering mansion in this Guillermo del Torro directed horror, which follows a similar visual path to his Pan’s Labyrinth (2006). The trailer looks splendidly creepy and stunning, so lucky for horror fans this will be showing nationwide as a pre-Hallowe’en treat. See the official website for more.
