Actor Ewan McGregor makes his directorial debut with this adaptation of the Philip Roth novel. He also snags the lead role as a man who gives up everything to find daughter Dakota Fanning, who goes missing after she commits a terrorist act. Critical plaudits are already trickling in (McGregor has been nominated for Best Picture at the Hamburg and San Sebastian Film Festivals) and the trailer shows a slick production.
